Carson High School Senior Gerardo Rodriguez Jr. is the 2012 Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson Youth of the Year.  This six-year Club member was born in South Los Angeles and moved to Carson, CA during his 10^thgrade year.  He joined the Club while attending Stephen M. White Middle School in the 7^thgrade and he hasn’t looked back since.  In Middle School, Gerardo began developing his character and leadership skills while serving as a student tutor.  He continued serving his peers in High School as he tutored students and taught them how to play the guitar.  Read more...
