BE INVOLVED
BE THE DIFFERENCE
BE THE ONE
One opportunity can make a lasting difference in the life of a child. One dream can give a sense of purpose for a lifetime. One voice can relay wisdom that resonates for generations. One Boys & Girls Club can give hope to an entire neighborhood. One person like you can help fulfill the dream of a brighter tomorrow for more youth in our community. At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson, any gift—no matter how big or small—is immensely appreciated. This is the idea behind our It Just Takes One Campaign: It just takes One caring adult, One Boys & Girls Club, and One gift to forever impact the life of a child.
This campaign ensures that the doors to the Clubs remain open and accessible to all youth and that the Clubs are able to continue to provide:
- A Safe Place where youth are given a sense of hope and opportunity for a brighter future. A positive place designed to cultivate our youth's ability to dream, discover, and develop their full potential.
- Life-Enhancing/Outcome-Based Programs that can open young minds, build character, and nurture healthy lifestyles. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson exposes youth to new skills and experiences that prepare them for life by focusing on 3 key priority program outcomes, including increased Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles and improved Character & Citizenship.
- A Relationship with Nurturing, Dedicated Trained Adults. The availability of dependable, caring adults who are responsive to a child's daily realities are critical to developing meaningful, often lifelong relationships that enable children to reach their full potential
For more than 20 years, we have continued to positively influence thousands of young lives within the high-need community of Carson and the bordering South Bay communities.
You can be the One to play a vital role in the success of our youth. Please consider a gift to Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson.
