  • Have a High School diploma
  • Submit an Employment Application
  • Have a CPR & First Aid Certification
  • Complete an interview by the Human Resources team
  • Pass a background check

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson has the following employment opportunities available. 1. YDP - Basketball (Part Time)
a. $12 hourly wage
b. Edwin Markham Middle School
c. 21 hours a week (M-F 2-6pm, except Tues 1-6pm)

2. Workforce Case Manager (Part Time)
a. $12-13 hourly wage
b. Locke High School
c. 21 hours a week (M-F 2-6pm, except Tues 1-6pm)

3. YDP - Handball (Part Time)
a. $11-12 hourly wage
b. Locke High School
c. 21 hours a week (M-F 2-6pm, except Tues 1-6pm)

4. NYOI - YDP (Part Time - Summer Position)
a. $12 hourly wage
b. Main Street Clubhouse
c. 20 hours a week (M-F 7am-12:30pm) 

5. YDP (Part Time - Summer Position)
a. $12 hourly wage
b. Main Street Clubhouse
c. 20 hours a week (M-F 9am-1pm) 

6. YDP (Part Time - Summer Position)
a. $12 hourly wage
b. Main Street Clubhouse
c. 21 hours a week (M-F 1-5pm)

7. Middle School Coordinator (Full Time)
a. $13-14 hourly wage (plus benefits)
b. Main Street Clubhouse
c. 34 hours a week (M-F 10am-7pm)
d. Start date: June 12, 2017

Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson is a qualified and committed employer of graduates seeking Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), which is a financial incentive program that forgives the remaining balance of Federal Direct Loans after 120 monthly qualified payments. Our goal is to provide resources and tools for those seeking to work in public service without the drain of loan repayment.

All hired candidates will be provided with the opportunity to meet and receive free, individual counseling in the PSLF Program upon full placement with BGCC.
