is a program based on the foundation of introducing and exposing Club members to the idea of college and preparing them for a successful post-high school experience. The program proposes to students multiple options for their continued success in the future and highly promotes post-secondary education. The program implements a mixture of 1-1 case management sessions, weekly workshops, college/career field trips, and free homework assistance/tutoring.
As a result all College Bound participants will:
• Be exposed to post-secondary educational options.
• Create a plan for their post-secondary education goals.
• Be familiar with the academic and financial resources necessary for acceptance to higher learning institutions.
• Understand the various options available towards achieving a great career.
BGCC members at Locke High School
participate in the College Bound program through activities such as tutoring, case management, and workshops.
Personal Development (PD) 20 is a course held at Carson High School
, designed to teach incoming juniors and seniors about the college application process. BGCC members enrolled in the PD 20 class had the opportunity to attend a college field trip to UCSD.

had the opportunity to hear from different speakers on Career Day during BGCC Week.
