Taproot Foundation

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson is proud to showcase a new website, made possible through a pro bono service grant from the Taproot Foundation.

The Taproot Foundation’s mission is to drive social change by leading, mobilizing, and engaging professionals in pro bono service.

As Taproot explains, “most organizations tackling social problems don’t have access to the marketing, design, technology, management or strategic planning resources they need to succeed. Taproot connects these organizations to skilled volunteers through pro bono service. From one-on-one consultations to team-based long-term projects, Taproot offers in-person and virtual engagements.”

With the team assembled via Taproot, six experts generously donated hundreds of hours of in kind volunteer service and expertise, valued at over $90,000, to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson. The team included Ed Merguerian (web developer), John Houser (project manager), Meg Foss (content writing), Todd Westphal (photography), Vivian Liu (graphic design), and Will Raleigh (project lead).

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson is incredibly grateful to Taproot and Ed, John, Meg, Todd, Vivian, and Will for making the new website possible.
