“I feel a thousand capacities spring up in me. I am arch, gay, languid, and melancholy by turns. I am rooted but I flow.” Virginia Woolf
When she first heard the Virginia Woolf quote, Olivia shares, “I instantly connected the words to my ever-changing life as a middle school teen. “I am rooted, but I flow.” When one is born, you don’t get to choose the life you are brought into, you must learn as you go, and adapt as you grow. The choices you make in life do not define who you are, but instead, guide you to grow and bloom into the person you want to be.”
Meet Olivia R. an eighth-grader that attends Stephen White Middle School. She has been a member since the second grade and loves everything about the BGCC. She is currently serving as her Torch Club’s Vice President and a basketball MVP. Olivia loves to help her fellow club members and encourages them to be the best version of themselves. She aspires to become a veterinarian and help cure all animals. Congratulations to Olivia for being chosen to represent four BGCC locations.
